Your Brain. Available to every AI you use.

Wherever you have thoughts — AquaBrain captures them. Via MCP from your AI client, in Slack, on the web, on mobile. One Brain. Yours. Not locked to a single LLM. Reuse it from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or anything that speaks MCP.

Why it matters

Your AI assistant should know what you know.

Capture from anywhere

Save ideas as Slack reactions. Drop transcripts via the web. Run /decision from Claude. Upload a meeting note. The pipeline auto-summarises, tags themes, and embeds for semantic retrieval.

Find by meaning, not memory

Vector search built on pgvector finds thoughts by what they mean, not the exact words. Ask "what did I decide about pricing last quarter?" — even if you never wrote the word "pricing".

Recall from any AI client

Connect once via MCP — paste a URL into Claude Desktop's settings, you're done. Every AI you use can now answer questions, summarise themes, or surface action items from your own knowledge.

Principles

Three ideas that make AquaBrain different.

Most knowledge tools want you to live inside them. AquaBrain assumes you already live inside Claude, ChatGPT, Slack, and a browser — and meets you there. Your thoughts stay yours.

01

One source of truth.

Every thought lives in one place — your Brain — regardless of where you captured it. No more "I know I wrote that down somewhere." Decisions, meeting notes, insights, references, and person notes share one searchable home.

02

You own your thoughts.

Not locked to one LLM, one chat, one tool. Your Brain runs on Supabase under your account. Use Claude today, ChatGPT next month, Cursor for code — your knowledge follows. The data is yours, encrypted, portable.

03

Capture without friction.

From Slack with /za. From the web. From mobile. From your AI client via slash skills. From a file upload. Capture happens where you already are — never as a separate "now I open the knowledge tool" task.

How it works

Three steps. Same Brain everywhere.

Step 01 / Capture

From wherever you already are.

Five capture surfaces today: Slack (with /za or message reaction), the AquaBrain web app (paste, file upload, slash skills), and any MCP-aware AI client (Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code). Each surface routes to the same pipeline.

Step 02 / Process

LLMs do the boring part.

Each capture goes through ingest-thought: an LLM rewrites it as a self-contained memory, extracts metadata (themes, people, type, action items), and an embedding model writes a vector for semantic retrieval. All using your own OpenRouter key.

Step 03 / Recall

From any AI you already use.

The MCP server (brain-mcp) exposes 6 tools — capture, search, list, recent, person-lookup, theme-summary — that your AI client invokes natively. Add the URL in Claude / ChatGPT / Cursor settings; your Brain is now part of every conversation.

Skills

Slash commands that structure your thinking.

Type / in any AquaBrain-connected AI client to invoke a Skill. Five capture and three analysis skills, plus a wiki-schema designer. Personal Skills coming soon.

/decision
Walks you through what you decided, why, alternatives, and who's affected. Stored as type=decision.
capture
/meeting
Structured debrief: attendees, purpose, discussion, decisions, open questions, action items.
capture
/insight
Saves a self-contained insight written so it'll still make sense in 6 months. No pronouns to prior context.
capture
/person
Logs a structured note about someone — role, what's most useful to remember, recent context.
capture
/aisave
Saves the current AI response (or a highlighted excerpt) verbatim, auto-classifying its type.
capture
/themes
Thematic analysis across recent thoughts. Surfaces recurring themes, emerging patterns, and unexpected connections.
analyse
/actions
Scans recent meetings + decisions, extracts pending action items, groups by owner, prioritises.
analyse
/tradeoffs
Synthesises benefits, costs, risks, and unknowns around a decision — with a "what I'd tell a friend" honest take.
analyse
/schema
Walks you through designing a Wiki Schema — the editorial policy that governs how your thoughts compile into topic pages.
